Ninety Day Limited Warranty

 

Regency Technologies, LTD. provide its hardware components in working condition, which is in accordance with industry-standard practices. Regency Technologies insures that the hardware products it purchases and sells will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty term is ninety days beginning on the date of invoice.

If products are damaged while being shipped to you, your machine will be covered under this warranty. Otherwise, this warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including "Acts of God", abuse, accident, misuse, electrical power issues, usage that is not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Regency Technologies and service not provided by Regency Technologies.

This warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories: software; external devices, batteries (unless noted specifically); accessories or parts added to a Regency Technologies system after the system is shipped from Regency Technologies; accessories or parts that are not installed by Regency Technologies.

Regency Technologies will repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty. Simply contact the Regency Technologies Technical Hotline to request warranty work. The Hotline number will be provided to you when your new Regency machine is delivered to you. Once you place a call to the Hotline a member of the Regency Technologies Technical Support Team will help diagnose your computer's problem and then determine if replacement is necessary.

Regency Technologies owns all parts removed from repaired products. Regency Technologies uses new parts made by a variety manufacturers when performing warranty repairs and building replacement products. If Regency Technologies repairs or replaces a product, warranty terms are not extended.

General Terms

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH CAN BE TRANSLATED DIFFERENTLY STATE TO STATE. REGENCY TECHNOLOGIES RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER SUCH PERIOD.

SOME STATES DO NOT AND WILL NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE PRECEEDING LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

REGENCY TECHNOLOGIES DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT OR LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST DATA OR SOFTWARE.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE PRECEEDING EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

These terms apply to Regency Technologies limited ninety day warranty only. For terms of any service contract covering your system, please refer to your invoice or the separate service contract that was provided to you by Regency Technologies.

If Regency Technologies elects to exchange a system or component, Regency Technologies must receive the product(s) for repair prior to the expiration of the warranty period in order for the repair(s) to be covered by the warranty.
Otherwise you will be charged for the new part and the labor cost to install it.
